Who Will Go
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Though our sins are many, God is faithful to forgive us of all our sins. Sometimes we forget that God can forgive sin and we let it hinder us from doing that which the Holy Spirit has asked of us. Isaiah himself had these same feels when he said, “Woe is me! I am undone” (Isaiah 6:5). We often feel like Isaiah that we can not do Gods work because our speech is unclean or we are afraid we will say the wrong thing.
God has the power to touch our lips, to take away our iniquity, and purge our sins. Asking God daily in prayer to forgive us of our sins, believing he will, and letting him establish our goings will help us in being an effective witness for our Lord. Don’t let the devil keep you from serving God. Ask God for help.
Who will go? Isaiah called out unto the Lord, “Here am I; send me.” Are you open for the Lord’s service? If not, then who?
Have you received Christ as your Lord and Saviour? If not, want you invite him into your heart today. Open the door for him today.
He is waiting.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. |
